Pre-deploy checklist

Run this checklist before adding any node to a cluster or deploying a new cluster. Each item is a verification step; do not proceed if any critical item fails.

How to use

Run through each item in order. For commands, paste them into a shell on the new host and verify the output matches the expectation. Document any deviation in the deployment log.

When to run

• Before installing Proxmox on a new host
• Before joining a host to an existing cluster
• Before resuming a cluster after a major change (firmware update, hardware swap)
